Fuck the Fucking Fuckers
I just sat down to watch the Seahawks and guess what?!!!? Unless you live in the Seattle area, or have Sattelite TV and a subscription to NFL TV, you don’t get the game. I say fuck the fucking fuckers. A big fuck you to the NFL. Did I mention FUCK YOU!!!! We subsidised your asses, we voted for the big fat cash cow called Quest Field, where OUR fucking Seahawks play and you want to make another buck off of us in Eastern Washington and elsewhere in the Northwest???? Fuck You!!!!!
Next time you ask for a dime of taxpayer money you better think twice about this blogger supporting a taxpayer subsidised stadium.
end rant….. you fuckers.
Update of sorts: Dammit I am a fool for my team. C’mon Seahawks. I had to watch you lose the Superbowl last year amidst a bunch of Steelers fans at Big Mountain Montana last year. Help me!!!

Jimmy - I hear you, but take solace that the game sucked, the team sucked and the weather made attending the game miserable for those that were mad enough to do so.

Indeed.

You talking cable? I wonder if it’s related to Charter pulling Kiro from the line-up?

I don’t care about the ‘hawks, or any football for that matter but there should be no taxpayer subsidized stadiums or anything related to sports.
I read somewhere that the city of Seattle is still paying for the King Dome. It must be true, I saw it on the internet. Even if the city isn’t paying for that one stadium it is paying for the 2 that HAD to be built in it’s place. Heaven forbid a stadium that is designed for 2 sports.
It’s pretty funny that the owners complain that if the city doesn’t build them a new stadium they will move the team. So the city spends the money, then the team goes out and gets some giant company to pay them to put their name on the building. Now that’s a racket.

@4
You should read up on the Sonics debacle.

If it’s any consolation it was pretty painful watching the team play that bad, and Holmgren coach that poorly, and worst of all - having to listen to the always irritating Bryant Gumbel describe it to us…

Truly a lynching is order!! I guess the field was totally soaked from the storm.
The lights went out on the score boards for a while…Most of Puget Sound
has not regained power. I was w/o power for 15 hours. The wind got up
to 113 mph on Chinook Pass (KIRO).
The Gov has said that if Hizzoner G Nickels wants his “big dig” (99 viaduct)
the voters are going to have to approve. He went on TV saying that he
thinks that the voters “should approve it”, as well. Hmmm, since carrots
have left the building it will be interesting to see what kind of sticks are
in the works…no one knows for sure how we were blessed with the little
trolley car for the hi-end project for South Lake Union for Paul Allen…hmmm
doesn’t he own Quest Field.
Oh yes, and don’t forget the monorail that never was (the one we are still
paying for), and the monorail that keeps breaking down (with passengers
in mid air), once from a collision caused by a narrow passageway on 5th
Ave created by squeezing the rails together, not long ago, to provide more
access to SHOPPING!
Too bad about KIRO gone from the Tri Cities. Andy Wappler is too cool!
(He’s the Weather Man).
