Laugh-In

Aside from this being the worst piece of promo I have ever seen, or perhaps even the predictable Brady Bunch laugh track with a script that couldn’t even the 70’s rival ”Laugh In”. it is also the most breathtakingly moronic effort at comedy I have ever seen! Can I say anything good about this? Nope. I mean how could they:

Make funny that our national reputation get worse?
Believe that VP Ann Coulter wouldn’t REALLY want to “invade your countries, kill your leaders and convert you to Christianity?”
Ignore the irony of “…the best days are still ahead of us.”

I guess it is hard to make fun of yourself when you are so frequently being made fun of by the much more qualified.

Waiting patiently for Comedy Central’s response…

The specter of Ann Coulter holding the Vice Presidency is unnerving- that hawkish face, those boney arms, that evil warlord kind of worldview… (shiver!) God forbid. So yeah Jimmy, I agree with your #2 the most.

This promo was truly sad (and people think Dems are stiff and humorless- ha!)

They are just trying too hard. They need some better writers. I mean, there is so much material out there with this “blue wave”. Just need some talent to script it up - but alas they are all working for the lefties like John Stewart.

You are right actually. They need to find an original format and material of their own. I can laugh at anything if it’s funny.

Ann Coulter would be better suited to be secretary of defense…. We could dump our anti-missle programs, nobody could get it up with her around……
