Representative Brian Sullivan Wants to Give Tim Eyman a Cheap Massage
Well, I don’t know if not having a certification will make an animal masseuse less expensive but it might…
The certification of animal massage practitioners is in the interest of the public health, safety, and welfare. While veterinarians and certain massage practitioners may perform animal massage techniques, the legislature finds that meeting all of the requirements of those professions can be unnecessarily cumbersome for those individuals who would like to limit their practice only to animal massage.
While I don’t think Rep. Sullivan (D-21) is intentionally trying to benefit Tim, and do think this piece of legislation (however quirky) has some merit, I am quite certain a veterinarian’s office is the only place Eyman might receive a massage.
Please, no jokes about “happy endings”…

You’ve got to be kidding me… We’re paying our legislators $50K a year for 3 months of “work” and this is the kind of dribble they turn out. Certification for a pet masseur?
But you know, it does get better…
Official Frog
Official Poet Lauriat
Official Ornithologist
Official Tree
Leif Erikson Day
Hey, where’s the bill for our official state “Tree Hugger”?
Better yet, let’s appoint our official tree hugger and then celebrate his or her birthday by gathering around our new-found official state tree and listen to poetry by our official poet, whilst listening to our official bird sing and frog croak - I’d suggest we start a camp fire and sing “cum-by-ya” (or however you spell it) but we have a law against such things without certain permits, licenses and other regulations.
Back to the massage thing… Does that mean if you rub Fido the wrong way, you could get arrested for massaging without a license?! You know if SB5066 passes and your ex files for a protection order on Fido and you do rub you’re old dog the wrong way, you really COULD get arrested.
How about stiffening penalties against repeat DUI’s (like making it a feloney for the 3rd). Nope. Instead, our reps in Olympia, thinking about making it an infraction if you don’t turn your head-lights on while running your windshield wipers. Oh yea, that’ll have a serious impact on traffic safety.
To our esteemed elected officials… How about getting some real *WORK* done guys?!

Representative Brian Sullivan needs to hire a writer! Again, here’s a legislator who doesn’t understand how to communicate with the public he serves! Hey Brian, go back to school to learn how to speak clearly. http://battlesoftim.com
