How did your caucus go?
I don’t know how much comment I’ll get out of this but I’d really LOVE to hear how your caucus went. What was the turnout? What was the vote. Here in Benton County, the caucus at Hanford HS turned out a very… no VERY impressive 290 people. Here is the breakdown that I know so far:
17 Clinton
43 Obama
1 Uncommitted
61 delegates
Many of the precincts, including mine went 4-1 Obama
Give us the scoop in the comment thread people!!!
Update: The Tri-City Herald covered the caucus pretty well. Benton County had a great turnout!
An estimated 1,400-plus attended Democratic caucuses in Benton County, believed to be the largest turnout ever, said Bob Parazin, county chairman. Barack Obama wound up with 295 delegates, while Hillary Clinton got 190, according to preliminary results.

Our turnout in Chelan Co. was nearly 4 times larger than in 2004 and we even had a caucus of 16 in Stehekin. The Obama campaign made very effective use of VoteBuilder and the seemingly-endless phone calls we made seemed to dispel the confusion regarding the mail-in primary. We organized at Wenatchee Valley College and that seemed to cause a bit of a ’stir’ with some local Republicans.
Our Young Democrats played a vitally important role and they were there in the trenches, day after day, making phone calls with us. (”Will work for pizza.” ) And, speaking of Young Democrats, twin brothers in Okanogan worked tirelessly to achieve a blowout 82% for Obama.
