Her folksy shtick is really starting to grate my nerves. I have never felt such antipathy towards someone seeking political office. For the most part I can accept political difference and respect politicians as people. But Palin is the first politician I have come to truly hate. Visceral hatred, which is an emotion I am not proud of. She is such a cynical joke it is less than funny. And if I hear "also" and "you beeetcha" come out of those tattooed lips of hers again I think I am going to be pushed over the edge. Substance-less hack, which is the worst kind.

Believe it or not I was so angry about Hillary not getting the nomination that I was seriously contemplating not voting or even voting McCain this year. But not now. Not after the Palin pick. It shows such a utter disregard for the American people. And to think that McCain was once considered a credible and potential VP pick for Kerry. But to see him pursuing the washed up beauty queen demographic is such a shame.

No left wing media bias?? Try CBS "Rathergate", Keith Oberman and Chris Matthews of MSNBC getting demoted for bad "Journalism" practices. It's obvious who the real bias idiots are---CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and PBS.

Hoody--Sorry to hear that you have chosen to live your life as a slave to others' perceived "pressures."
And I'm even sorrier to know that you want to run my life--and death--for me. Just what I need--someone who thinks they know what's best for me to make the most fundamental decisions about my life for me.

Shame on you Martin Sheen for doing an ad full of false and misleading statements against the Death with Dignity initiative in Washington. And I can't believe that you actually want to our government to prevent me from making my own decision about how I want to spend my last days, weeks or months if I'm terminally ill.

Ha! Fixed... humbly... It was 4 or so in the morning when I started.... (my spell checker caught it but I guess I wasn't listening)

But good point! Biden wasn't perfect. And so far I haven't seen anyone saying he was as well. Most reports agree... he did what was needed.

A choice, in this case, all too soon becomes an obligation. Like the idea of feeling the PRESSURE to die because you don't want to be a burden anymore?

Modern progressives love the idea of "Freedoms" so that they can later on become slaves. Ironic, and pathetic.

T:

"idiotic right wing bloggers have no idea what journalism really is"

Which idiotic right-wing bloggers? The "journalists" are supposed to be those reports and anchors on CBS, NBC, ABC, and of course, FOXNEWS as well. Journalism, by definition, is unbiased. It's striclty reporting the facts, from all sides, fair and balanced. A right-wing blogger is not a journalist. He/She is a right-wing blogger. Mainstream network news has not qualified as journalism for many years, what with their leftward slant on all things political, social, and economics related. Pay attention. You mentioned Hannity, he's right wing by admission. How does FOX balance this? With Alan Colmes as the left-wing whipper snapper. Before you critisize, maybe you should examine the possibility that it is YOU who do not know what journalism is SUPPOSED to be. What it has become is another story entirely.

CBS, ABC, and PBS and even handed and factual - their news divisions report real news. The right wing whackos and bloglodytes think that is "biased." The spinmeisters at Faux News (Hannity, Cavuto, and O'Reilly) and the idiotic right wing bloggers have no idea what journalism really is. They are Repo hacks and lackies.

Go to youtube and look up Sarah Palin and Tina Fey and Saturday Night Live. Right near the top there will be a clip which places a part of Saturday's SNL parody next to a question from the Couric interview. The genius is that the exchange on SNL with Fey for that question was a direct reenactment from the Couric interview, really without any exaggeration.

Nobama clearly gets his (her) talking points from Ditto-head Central.

Yeah... those network were all in his pocket when he was suffering withering criticism about Rev. Wright or when they were all suckling on the teat of the Celebrity theme.

The Rethuglicans believe that anything not explicitly for the GOP is completely against them. That's why they throw themselves on the alter of FauxNews. FNC is the GOP version of Pravda.

At least the Obama Channel is paid advertising and not a blatant partisan endorsement wrapped in the guise of 'mainstream' thinking.
