HIAB XS 099 HiProCARGOTEC CORPORATION, PRESS RELEASE APRIL 28, 2021 AT 1:45 PM EST

Hiab, part of Cargotec, will supply UK’s leading hard-landscaping manufacturer Marshalls 108 new HIAB loader cranes with HiConnect â„¢ and ProCare â„¢ Total Repair and Maintenance connected service contracts for eight years. The order value of 4.9 million euros was ordered and recorded when Cargotec took orders in the first quarter of 2021.

Marshalls is a full-service, full-service landscaping product company – from planning and engineering, to consulting and delivery. From the highlands of Scotland to the southern tip of England, they offer a three-day delivery promise, even for precious and fragile items, delivered by their fleet of 200 vehicles.

Cranes ordered are HIAB X-HiDuo 138 B-2 medium reach loader cranes with HIAB brick grapples supplied to Massey Truck Engineering for installation on truck trailer combinations, as well as HIAB X-HiPro roller loaders 099R with brick grabs installed on SDC Trailers, build specification flatbed trailer. Both are remotely controlled to give operators the best field of view to improve accuracy and safety for themselves and the environment. All complete units will be supplied to the Marshalls via Zenith.

“Having established a fleet replacement strategy for the next five years, it was important that Marshalls undertook a thorough review of all of its equipment, including its cranes, which are integral to the level of delivery service offered to our customers. Following a market assessment, which involved testing up-to-date crane models and gathering important feedback from our drivers, Hiab was selected as the Marshalls crane supplier. We were particularly impressed with the additional benefits of the HiConnect system as well as the high service levels already received on the existing Hiab fleet ”, states Nigel basey, Logistics Manager, Marshalls plc.

“We are honored that Marshalls has chosen Hiab as the supplier for its new fleet of auxiliary crane trucks. Our cranes are the perfect choice for high cost items that need to be delivered safely, quickly and efficiently, which enables Marshalls to deliver on their customer promise, ”says John bailey, Director of International Key Accounts, Hiab.

He continues: “The chosen ProCare agreement means that we will take care of all necessary maintenance, replace all spare parts and perform any unscheduled repairs at no additional cost. This ensures the best uptime for Marshalls, while HiConnect optimizes the performance of their fleet. “

HiConnect â„¢ improves business productivity for Hiab customers through connected Hiab equipment. The technology provides real-time information on the use, operation and status of equipment. This data can be used to actively optimize performance, safety, and avoid unnecessary downtime. Web-based dashboards with clear and simple overviews provide condition monitoring, service planning and help improve the operation of every unit and operator.

Hiab ProCare â„¢ service contracts can be tailored to suit equipment and business needs with three different levels of coverage. All worn wearing parts will be replaced with original spare parts and all work will be performed by Hiab certified service professionals. Planned and preventive maintenance ensures uptime at a fixed monthly cost. Over the life of the equipment, this reduces costs and increases resale value.
